Jiffy 7C Pellet
- Use the Jiffy 7C pellet to propagate various seeds and cuttings.
- It is made of cocopeat and is a container and media in one. It comes as a compressed dry disk in a degradable netting.
- The pellets are environmentally friendly, contain no plastic, and are 100 % biodegradable.
- With the pellets, you will experience minimal transplant shock. Once your plant reaches the desired size, you plant the whole pellet.
- You can use the pellets with or without a tray system. One can place the pellets in crates or on plastic sheets if preferred.
How to use the 7C pellets:
- Hydrate by placing the pellets in a water-filled container or spraying it with an overhead spray.
- Plant seeds or cuttings directly into hydrated pellets at the depth required for the particular crop type.
- Apply water as required for the crop and environment, remembering that cocopeat usually requires less water applied more frequently.
- You do not need to fertilize in the first week or so of growth. Afterward, suitable fertilization is required.
- Grow the seedling/cutting to planting size and then plant the whole pellet into the soil.
- Plants will easily root through the Jiffy 7C netting.
Their compressed nature makes them easy and cost-effective to transport. They have a long shelf life while packaged for our conditions.
